Mar Skincare

Mar is a sustainable marine based skincare company based in Florida. Mar provides quality skincare that is ethical and promotes reciprocal engagement with marine ecosystems of Florida. One of the brand’s missions is to partner with oyster aquaculture restoration to enliven local economies and estuary ecosystems. Oysters are keystone species because they have a disproportionately large impact on the natural environment and other species in an ecosystem.  

I wanted to feature unique elements of line that embodied fluid movement of waves and intimated at the ocean. I was very inspired I created the main pattern based on topography maps, waves, and oyster shells.
